Our History & Mission
The Banff Food Bank has been a cornerstone of the small community of the Town of Banff since 1994. We are a community-led initiative dedicated to ensuring food security for our neighbors.
Our operations are unique because we are 100% volunteer-run and entirely funded by donations & grants. Every bag of groceries and every hour of service is a direct result of the generosity and dedication of our local community.
The Banff Food Bank focuses on providing nutritious food, including fresh items, to individuals and families in need.
Our Mission
The board and volunteers of Banff Food Bank are engaged in fighting hunger.
At the Banff Food Bank, our board and volunteers are deeply committed to eliminating hunger within Banff National Park. We believe that access to nutritious food is a fundamental human right—one that should be accessible, affordable, and dignified for every member of our community.
