Food Distribution
Summer Food Distribution Updates
Welcome! This summer, our food distribution is operating out of the back of the Banff Park Church.
We are piloting a brand-new food distribution system this season, and we are excited to have hot dogs on the menu! Everyone is welcome in this space.
A Note on Our New System
Because we are testing out a new process, things might take just a little longer than usual. We kindly ask for your patience and grace with our volunteers. They generously donate their priceless time to help us serve our community, and we want to ensure they have a positive experience, too.
Over 20 Years of Community
Partnership
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to Banff Park Church, who is generously providing the our space for over 20 years at no cost. We are incredibly grateful for their physical space, their organized meals, and the unwavering support and kindness they show to everyone who walks through the doors.
The Alpine Apple Project Takes a Summer Break!
Food security isn't just about meals at home; it’s about ensuring that every child has the fuel they need to learn, play, and grow. A piece of fresh fruit is more than just a snack—it is a boost of energy that helps a student focus on a math problem instead of a growling stomach

By bringing these apples directly into the school environment, we are:
-
Removing Barriers: Every child has equal access to fresh produce, regardless of their circumstances at home.
-
Encouraging Healthy Habits: Making fresh fruit a consistent, reliable part of the school week sets the foundation for a lifetime of wellness.
-
Reducing Stigma: When a box of apples is available to everyone, it becomes a shared community resource rather than a "handout."
